This is a test of composing a WEB page using HTML

This document attempts to address the issues of composing a WEB page using the HTML language. I have read a few documents regarding how to use HTML and the various tags required to compose a document.

Disclaimer: This document is neither finished nor is it even current. It reflects my efforts to publish a WEB document using the HTML language.

This document is divided into two main sections. The first section discusses how I created the document and the second section dicusses the various problems I encountered in composing and publishing the document.

Note: I'm not finished creating this document yet and will be adding more information at a later time. In addition, I will be creating hypertext links to sections within this document and to external URLs. The areas that I am trying to resolve are:

• How do I create a hyperlink to internal sections of this document.
• How do I use the various HTML tags to create specific elements in the document.
• What is the method used to transfer the HTML document to the WEB site.

History

I started reading about HTML yesterday, March 27, 1999. This is my first attempt to publish a WEB page using the knowledge I have gained on HTML since then. I am fumbling around and trying to use the right techniques. If I am able to publish this crude document on my WEB site then I will consider my attempt successful.
